Fat loss and Weight Loss are not the two sides of the same coin. They are two totally different things although people want to get rid of both these problems as fast as they can. Many people do not understand the difference between the two but they are certainly different. You can be a heavy weight person and a fit person both but you cannot be a fat person and a fit person both. This is still a minor difference between the two. Fat loss is not permanent as it is very easy to gain fat then losing it but weight loss can be made permanent by finding a proper ratio between fat and muscle.

Weight is always good for health unlike fat and if you are losing weight to fast then it could lead to some health problems later. In fact weight is made up of muscles, tissues, bones, fat and water. Rest of the weight includes the physical body of the person. Thus weight loss involves losing entire body's weight whereas losing fat means only reducing the body fat and not the entire body's weight. Losing the body fat is more important than losing the body weight because being fat can make you prone to some serious diseases like diabetes, stroke, hypertension or even a heart attack.

Another difference is the workout programs that are made for fat loss and weight loss. Weight loss programs only help you lose some part of the fat that your body has whereas fat loss programs focus mainly on losing fat and building a muscled physique. Also eating less is not a solution for weight loss because when you eat less you not only lose the unwanted fat but also the muscle weight is lost along with it.

The food diet is also different for both the processes. If you are looking for a food loss dietary plan than you must look for foods that are fat free like green vegetables and any other plant-based food whereas if you want to lose weight then the dietary plan will be totally different. Thus you must focus on losing the excess fat and not the weight because if you lose fat, it eventually helps you lose weight but the opposite is not true. Think about it if you don't have a positive mind set to stay focus & have the will-power to loses weight it will just be EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES and you will never loses the weight you want.
